Get away from Hoi An for a night and discover a completely different side of Vietnam.
Departing Hoi An by motorbike puts a whole new perspective on the Vietnam countryside, with fresh air and beautiful sceneries filling the senses. We`ll first stop at 1000yr old Cham temples and former US and French bases from the independence wars. 
(Optional stop at Marble Mountain where you can get your adrenaline pumping with an abseiling descent down to Hell`s Cave.) 
We then wind our way into the mountains - this is what motorbike touring is all about! Travel along quiet roads, enjoying breathtaking sites at every turn with plenty of chances to stop for photos. 
As we wind our way up into the hills towards the Lao border home to the Ka Tu minority, we take a break to visit one of the few remaining Ka Tu woodcarvers and enjoy a refreshing shot of rice wine or two in his stilted house before continuing our journey deep in to the mountains, meandering through isolated villages where the culture and traditions remain untouched by time making this remote and staggeringly beautiful region home to one of the most authentic hill tribes to remain in Vietnam.
After a long and thrilling first day`s adventure we head for home – a small family run guest house in the heart of the minority hill tribe`s main town, with a choice of a home cooked dinner or the opportunity to dine with the locals for a delicious feast of authentic hill tribe fare. (110km)

We begin our final day over hot coffee and a family breakfast as the town comes to life, busy local markets trading to far flung Ka Tu villagers descending from the mountains to stock up on supplies creating a vibrant backdrop as we jump back on our bikes for our final adventure. Today`s drive crosses the historic Ho Chi Minh Trail, through lush forests and past jaw-dropping views of the central Vietnam Mountains. Just when you thought it couldn`t get any more beautiful we arrive at a waterfall tucked alongside a towering peak for a picnic lunch. 
The afternoon sees us descending back down toward the coast, stopping along the way to explore old bases from the American war, crossing the Thu Bon River by local ferry and following our unique rural laneway and floating bridge road back into Hoi An. (150km)

Optional Abseiling at Marble Mountain:

We walk up Marble Mountain into the rappelling area, which takes about 10 to 15 minutes.
The first rappel is a short walk from the practice area and enjoys a fantastic view of the ocean. This 22 meter line has great exposure, fantastic scenery and makes you feel like you are much higher than you actually are.
Then we do our final rappel; a monster 50 meter drop into a gaping hole so deep and dark that you can`t see the bottom. This fantastic cave rappel drops right out of the jungle down into a temple chamber. Get ready for a full on Tomb Raider experience!

Price:
100 USD per day per rider on Honda Motorbike or semi-auto scooter.
If there are two of you, it`s only 65 USD per day for the pillion passenger,
if you share one bike. 
For an extra 25 USD per day, you can also upgrade to an XR dirt bike.
If you can`t ride yourself and need a driver it is 100 USD per day per person.
