FAQs
FAQs

Our minimum size to start the trip is 02 people. When sending a request to us, please let us know:

- The name of the trip you would like to join.
- Your preferable traveling dates. If not we can tailor the trip for you.
- How many people are in your travelling party.
- Your nationalities.

What type of accommodation do you provide on the trips?

We normally provide 3* stars accommodation. However, in some less traveled towns, there are only guesthouses with simple rooms and that is the only accomodation available. In the mountains we prefer to stay at smaller family run businesses, to experience rural area at its most authentic.

Is there internet access in all the places we travel to?

In this fast developing country, there is internet access in most places in Vietnam. There might be limited internet access when staying in smaller mountain towns. Although internet can be found in internet cafes, we recommend an internet free trip, to keep the experience authentic!

How old are the people on your trips?

This can change from tour to tour. The average age is hard to determine as the youngest we’ve taken is 12 and the oldest is past 70!

If the group is mixed, we let you know by email. We cater for all nationalities, although our client base is predominantly Australian, Kiwi and European.

Do you do tailored made trips

Vietnam Trail Rider offers a selection of pre determined itineraries, however, please email us with any enquiry and we can see if it’s within our power. If not, we have the knowledge to put you in touch with other companies who can provide you with the service you require.

What type of bikes do you use?

We ride the genuine Japanese Honda Master 125cc series, for their strength, durability and above all things, reliability!  For the less experienced, we offer semi automatic scooters, using only genuine Japanese parts… (Out on the trail, you want nothing less than the best!)

We recommend that all tourists travel to Vietnam should purchase travel insurance including evacuation.  Danang is serviced by a Western Medical Practice with international doctors and staff, in the event of a serious problem. Our guides are first aid trained with certificates issued from professionals in Ho Chi Minh City.
