Hoi An/ Da Nang – Central Highlands – Dalat – Mui Ne – Mekong Delta – Saigon (12 days 11 nights)

Day 1: Hoi An/ Da Nang – Kham Duc ( 140 km – 5 hour ride)

Picking you up in Hoi An/ Da Nang around 8.30 a.m and show you the rural life of locals such as: incense making, basket making village, rice paper making,…and then head to My Son Hollyland where you can visit the ancient Cham Towers and learn about their history and culture,… and then travel to the Ho Chi Minh trail where you can learn about the Civil War of Vietnam before 1975 as well as enjoy the breath-taking nature of the area,… reach to Kham Duc around 5p.m stay overnight in the small town.

Day 2: Kham Duc – Kon Tum: ( 170 km – 6 hour ride)

Leaving Kham Duc for Kon Tum: Visit other ethnic minority villages such as Churu, Tay, Nung,… to learn their tradition, customs, cultures. Continue following the Ho Chi Minh trail to visit Phoenix Airport and other important bases of the Southern Government before 1975, visit Vinh Son orphanages, Wooden Church (was built by French in 40s), stay overnight in Kon Tum.

Day 3: Kon Tum – Pleiku ( 180 km – 6 hour ride)

Leaving Kon Tum for Pleiku, travel to Kon Ktu village to explore the daily life of Bana, learn more about their culture, custom, tradition,… and then head to Mang Den to enjoy the breath-taking nature and its wild life, visit “the Eyes of Pleiku” Sea Lake before check in and stay overnight in Pleiku.

Day 4: Pleiku – Cu Jut : ( 230 km – 7 hour ride)

Visit rubber plantation, Ede ethnic minority village to experience pleasure with their unique culture,…etc. and then travel to Dray Sap and Dray Nu waterfalls (the biggest waterfalls in Vietnam) and enjoy in the Fairy Pool after a long day ride,… stay overnight in the bungalow next the Virgin waterfall in Cu Jut.

Day 5: Cu Jut – Lak ( 100 km – 3 hour ride)

Leaving Cu Jut to visit the locals to learn how they process the coffee and taste the best coffee of Vietnam, the brick making factory, and then trek to the top of the Elephant Mountain to enjoy the panoramic view of the area, travel to Jun village where you can learn more about the M’nong hill tribe’s culture and their elephant hunting legendary, have some great shots of fishermen on Lak Lake in the dusk. Stay overnight in natural Lak Lake where you can choose a hotel or homestay with locals.

Day 6: Lak – Dalat (165 km – 5 hour ride)

You can ride elephant or boat to pass the Lake to visit M’lieng ethnic minority viilage and then explore Jun village to learn more about the rural life of M’nong tribe. Stop at foot of the mountain to see how locals make chopsticks, incenses,…and the farmers who cultivate goods on their lands such as flowers, coffee, tea, mushrooms, vegetables, then head to Dalat and visit the highlights of Dalat such as Crazy House, Dragon Pagoda, Former Railway Station,… arrive in Dalat around 5p.m

Day 7: Dalat – Mui Ne (150 km – 5 hour ride)

Visit Lat village to learn more about the rural life of highlanders, K’ho, the original residents of Dalat. Then visit Meditation Monastery, Paradise Lake, stop on the peak of Dami mountain to take some great shots of the panoramic view of the area. And then travel to Luong Son and visit the highlights of Mui Ne area such as: white and red sand dunes, fairy springs, fishing village,…ect before arriving in your hotel around 5 pm

Day 8: Mui Ne – Saigon (220 km – 7 hour ride)

Visit the colorful fishing market, Champa Towers and their culture, get on the cable car and travel to Takou Mountain and and visit Reclining Buddha,… Thuong Chieu Monastery Pagoda, Minh Dam Army Base and Cu Chi Tunnels to learn more about the war. Head to Saigon and visit the highlights of the area like Reunification Palace, Ben Thanh Market,… arrive in the hotel where you want in Saigon around 5 pm.

Day 9: Saigon – Can Tho (210 km – 7 hour ride)

You will leave busy Saigon for Can Tho, on the way you will visit and learn how to make the well-known Go Den rice-wine and get to try it for yourself. Next on to Song Hau, you will explore the fruit plantations, where they have various kinds of fruit that you might want to try some in this tropical area of the Mekong Delta. Last, you will visit the traditional ceramics and incense village. At night, you can enjoy having dinner and listening to the traditional folk music on the Hau Giang River. You will then go to Can Tho where you will stay at a home stay.

Day 10: Can Tho – Con Phuong (150 km – 5 hour ride)

You will visit the Cai Rang floating market. Then, you will move to Dong Thap Muoi and learn more about the war in Vietnam at the Xeo Quyt battle field. After that, you will explore the Tram Chim national park and Thap Muoi Lotus fields.

You will enjoy the traditional mat making and wearing villages. My Tho market is also worth visiting to understand the daily life of the locals. You will also explore the snake farms in Dong Tam. At night you will home stay on the small island of Con Phuong.

Day 11: Con Phuong – Ben Tre (160 km – 5 hour ride)

Leave for Song Be and sit on a boat and cruise along the small canals and then enjoy eating lunch with the locals. You will then visit the local villages where they make art work from coconuts. Stay overnight in Ben Tre.

Day 12: Ben Tre – Saigon (140 km – 4 hour ride)

Heading back to Saigon you will visit the villages where they make coconut cakes and rice paper. Next, you will stop by the honey tea factory and a fishing village. Lastly, you will explore the Nam Ki historic vestige and the Cao Dai Temple and return to Saigon around 5pm.
